Broadlands Main Lake is a well established 26-acre venue, that offers everything you could wish to find in a carp fishery, from central islands to marginal overhangs, humps, gulleys and more this is one venue that will certainly test your watercraft and further your fishing abilities.
Fed from the famous chalk stream river Test, there is an abundance of natural food and vegetation that provide the carp, tench, bream and silver fish plenty of cover as well as good amounts of food and water quality to hit specimen weights.
Carp to over 40lb
Tench to 8lb
Bream to 17lb
Pike to over 32lb
With depths ranging from 1ft to over 10ft in places, there are also several secluded bays that allow you to get up close and personal with your quarry. If you prefer fishing medium to long range there are also several swims that suit this style, regardless of how you prefer to fish, the Main Lake has it all.
Fishing can be tricky at times, but the rewards are there to be had, with several fish regularly topping over the magical mid-thirties mark. With a good number of carp over 30lb and an incredible number of fish over 20lb.
