Welcome to the British Carp Angling Championships, the No 1 event in the world for competition carpers.

The 2010 event sees some old favourites and some cracking new waters added to the competition calendar as Matt Carter and Joe Atkinson aim to defend the title that they won during the first year tat they fished together as a pair.

With £10,000 and a place in the history books up for grabs, it’s little wonder that the BCAC is held in such high regard by carp anglers around the world. Covered by the angling press and also by Talk Sport national radio and Sky Sports television it means there is a fair amount of fame involved too.
